Mr. Seyi Oderinde is the founder of Genii-Prints Limited, a brand, marketing, and advertising agency. He also founded and co-owns multiple businesses. In an interview, he discussed how he managed his various ventures, his early struggles, and his transition from a hands-on entrepreneur to a multi-preneur with efficient systems for business management.

Managing multiple businesses was initially manageable as he had only a few projects and small clients. However, as his business grew, it became challenging to handle everything alone. He adapted by developing systems to manage his businesses effectively.

In the early stages of his entrepreneurship journey, he had few clients and projects, which allowed him time to brainstorm ideas and study entrepreneurship through books, YouTube, webinars, and events. His electrical electronics and computer science education did not directly relate to his current expertise in branding, marketing, and advertising.

After finishing his education, he initially pursued a job in his academic field but later left to pursue his interests in marketing and other businesses he founded. His job at PHCN for eight years provided valuable team management and cooperation skills.

In the beginning, his earnings were low, and he did many free jobs to prove himself and gain experience. He emphasized the importance of dealing with people and cited his prior experiences in managing a school cyber cafe and working in a corporate organization as valuable for his entrepreneurial journey.

Mr. Seyi Oderinde mentioned that he made the transition to entrepreneurship alone, making decisions independently and managing all aspects of his first business solo.
